North Dakota OSHA Training Information

In North Dakota, there is no state agency in charge of OSHA training and compliance. Federal OSHA is in charge of regulating OSHA training. OSHA Campus Online provides 10 hour, 30 hour, hazwoper and other training for construction and General Industry workers.

Some companies require their employees to take OSHA training in order to be qualified to perform certain duties. The Federal government requires that all employees handling material that is considered hazardous must take 24 or 40 hour hazwoper training and a yearly refresher course.

The student must pass all lesson exams and the final exam with a minimum score of 70%. Lesson exams and the final exam may be taken up to three times if necessary to pass. If a student fails any exam 3 times, he/she fails the course. If a student fails the course — they must re-purchase and take the course from its beginning, and successfully complete it in its entirety, in order to earn the DOL-OSHA completion card. Previous passed lessons cannot be credited to the new assignment.
