10-Hour G.I. Course description: U.S. OBackground: U.S. OSHA created the Outreach Training for the purpose of expanding the knowledge base of employers and employees across the country relative to their standards and guidelines, thereby enhancing safety and health in the American workplace.SHA requires four specific topics be included in every 10-Hr. program, with an additional six hours of elective topics. The four required topics are, (one hour each):

• Introduction to the OSH Act,OSHA, Enforcement, and Recordkeeping
• Walking -Working Surfaces
• Means of Egress, EmergencyAction Plans and Fire Protection Plans
• Electrical Safety

The six elective topics included in this program (running one-half hour to one and one-half hours in length each) are

• Hazardous Substances and Industrial Hygiene

Successful completion of this course will result in the participant receiving their U.S. OSHA 10-Hour General Industry wallet card, which has no expiration date.

Type of Course: This course is an online, interactive program which can be taken at the student’s pace and convenience. It is available online 24/7 and will be an active, available program for six months from the date of registration.

Evaluation: This U.S. OSHA 10-Hr. G.I. Outreach program contains 10 topic modules, each with its own lessons. Each module includes lesson quizzes to test the student’s comprehension of the material just presented. There is a final quiz at the end of each module which requires each student to attain at least 70% correct to progress to the next module. Upon conclusion of the entire program, each student will take a final quiz, with the same 70% minimum correct requirement. At the time of completion, the student will be able to download and print a 360Training certificate indicating successful completion of the course, and for continuing education credit purposes. In addition, the student will receive their U.S. OSHA 10-Hr. G.I. wallet card from the US department of Labor. The OSHA card generally takes 4 to 6 weeks to arrive, but can take up to 8 weeks during a particularly busy time.

OSHA 30 Hr Construction Industry Outreach Training

The OSHA 30 Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training course is a comprehensive safety program designed for anyone involved in the construction industry. Specifically devised for safety directors, foremen, and field supervisors; the program provides complete information on OSHA compliance issues. OSHA recommends Outreach Trainings as an orientation to occupational safety and health for workers covered by OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Construction workers must receive additional training, when required by OSHA standards, on specific hazards of the job.

This module is comprised of 23 sections, each either one or two hours in length, and covering topics pertaining to regulations covered by Standard 29 CFR 1926. The successful completion of this course will help to meet the Construction Industry standards established by OSHA.
You will be sent a copy of OSHA Standards for Construction. The book will serve as an invaluable resource for referencing OSHA standards that have been covered in this course, as well as researching regulations or standards that could help in establishing a safer workplace.

These modules are either one, two, or three hours in length, with content-specific quizzes at the end of each to test your aptitude and knowledge of what you have learned; the successful completion of the training modules in this course will help to meet the General Industry standards established by OSHA.

Objectives: Each student will be able to:

• State the purpose and functions of OSHA
• Describe the OSHA inspection process
• Determine the rights and responsibilities of employers and employees under the OSH Act
• Determine under which conditions OSHA safety regulations should be implemented
• Identify the correct personal protective equipment (PPE) to be used under different working conditions
• Instruct workers on the proper need for and use of recordkeeping regulations
• Outline the methods of first aid, rescue, and preventative measures to be implemented in case of an accident or emergency

Hazwoper 24 Hour Course

HAZWOPER 24 Hour is required for employees visiting an Uncontrolled Hazardous Waste Operation mandated by the Government.
This course covers broad issues pertaining to the hazard recognition at work sites. OSHA has developed the HAZWOPER program to protect the workers working at hazardous sites and devised extensive regulations to ensure their safety and health. This course, while identifying different types of hazards, also suggests possible precautions and protective measures to reduce or eliminate hazards at the work place.
Note: Workers must have 24 hours of initial training and one day of supervised field experience before they are allowed to enter the site. **The online course meets the standard requirement of 24hrs of initial training. The one day field experience under a trained, experienced supervisor is the responsibility of the student's employer or potential employer.
