Which 10 Hour OSHA Course should I take?

This is a frequent question among our customers. In general, if you work on a construction job site, you should take the OSHA 10 Hour Construction course. If you work in manufacturing such as in a factory, plant, or health care facility, you should take the OSHA 10 Hour General Industry course. We offer OSHA Certification for both segments.

Upon successful completion, both courses will result in the official Department of Labor OSHA 10 Hour Card being issued to you. The OSHA Cards are issued by the US Department of Labor and take 4 to 8 weeks to arrive. Proof of completion of the course will be provided to you via email from our OSHA trainer within 24 hours if you need it for your job site.

Typically managers and supervisory personnel will take the OSHA 30 hour training courses and employees will take the OSHA 10 hour training courses.

OSHA Accepted Online Training Provider

oshacampusonline-by-360Online Outreach Training Providers must receive acceptance of their Training Programs from the OSHA Outreach Training Program prior to making them available to their students. Our OSHA training program has been created by 360Training and is fully OSHA accepted. While the www.osha.gov no longer lists online schools, they do have a link to email them for accepted outreach training providers on their website.

Roger Oldham, director of OSHACampusOnline emailed OSHA through the official OSHA website on November 2nd, 2009 asking the question, "Is the OSHA Campus an approved online provider?" He received a response directly from the DOL on November 9th, 2009.
